Our Services

Our Comprehensive Services

Our range of comprehensive services has been carefully designed to cater to your various wellness needs.

Physiotherapy is employed to enhance strength, balance, mobility, and overall fitness while also addressing injury prevention and treatment. It plays a crucial role in restoring normal bodily function and preventing disability resulting from disease, trauma, injury, or age-related deterioration.

Our Physiotherapists combine “hands-on” manual therapy techniques, electro-therapeutic modalities, and exercise programs to treat various conditions including:

Knee and hip replacement surgeries are major procedures, and recovery often requires weeks before a patient can walk comfortably or return to normal daily activities. To support a safe and effective recovery, doctors typically recommend a structured physical rehabilitation program after surgery.

At Spark & Sound Health, our expert rehabilitation team can guide you through a personalized exercise program designed to accelerate healing, strengthen the muscles surrounding the replaced joint, and restore mobility. With the right rehab plan, patients can return to their routine activities with confidence and minimal discomfort.

Benefits of Hip or Knee Replacement Rehabilitation Physiotherapy

Rehabilitation physiotherapy following a hip or knee replacement offers several important benefits for patients. These include:

  • Improved circulation, which helps reduce the risk of blood clots.

  • Restoration of normal joint movement, allowing for smoother mobility.

  • Strengthening of the muscles in and around the affected joint to support stability and function.

  • Faster return to daily activities, promoting independence during recovery.

  • Reduction in pain and swelling, helping patients feel more comfortable throughout the healing process.

At Spark & Sound Health, we prioritize non-surgical, evidence-based approaches to managing pain and injury. However, when surgery becomes necessary, our team is here to support you every step of the way.

From pre-surgery strengthening programs to post-surgical rehabilitation, we help you prepare, heal, and return safely to your daily activities with confidence.

Massage therapy is a form of hands-on treatment that involves the manipulation of muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, and joints to enhance a person’s well-being and promote relaxation.

we treat many conditions that can be helped by the use of massage therapy, such as:

Pre-Natal massage is an excellent way to ease through the changes that occur to the body during pregnancy.

Massage can help reduce  stress, pain and anxiety.  Ease muscle tension, nerve compression and stress. It helps increase circulation and lowers stress hormones.

Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and improve function. This is done by the insertion of very thin solid stainless-steel needles and application of heat or electrical stimulation at very precise acupuncture points to provide muscle relaxation, pain modulation and genera relaxation. Acupuncture can treat a wide array of issues such as musculoskeletal pain, street, anxiety, digestive disorder, hormonal imbalance and fatigue.

Cupping is part of acupuncture treatments and should not be a standalone treatment.  Cupping is an effective treatment method but it is not suitable for all conditions.
Chiropody is a branch of healthcare that specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various disorders and conditions related to the feet and lower limbs. Practitioners in this field, known as chiropodists or podiatrists, are trained to address a wide range of foot-related issues, including but not limited to skin and nail problems, biomechanical abnormalities, musculoskeletal conditions, and complications associated with diabetes. Chiropody involves both preventive and therapeutic measures to maintain and improve the health of the feet, promoting overall mobility and well-being. The terms “chiropody” and “podiatry” are often used interchangeably in different regions.
Orthotics are medical devices that are beneficial in the prevention and treatment of a variety of foot, ankle, knee and back disorders. We offer custom made orthotics using Volumetric 3-D Scanner and plaster casting.

Shockwave therapy is used to address a variety of conditions, but it is noted to be particularly effective for treating soft tissue injuries as well as bone and joint pain such as calcific tendinitis and plantar fasciitis, both of which boast a 90+/- % improvement rate.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY IS COMMONLY USED TO TREAT CONDITIONS SUCH AS:

  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Achilles tendinopathy
  • Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis)
  • Rotator cuff tendinitis
  • Patellar tendinopathy
  • Muscular trigger points
  • Calcific shoulder tendinopathy
  • Hip pain (e.g., trochanteric bursitis)

BioFlex Laser Therapy—also known as Low-Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT), photobiomodulation, or cold laser—is an advanced, light-based treatment proven to be highly effective for musculoskeletal injuries, inflammation, chronic pain, and wound healing.

This non-invasive and pain-free therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and infrared light to penetrate deeply into injured or inflamed tissues. At Spark & Sound Health, our clinical team integrates BioFlex Laser Therapy with physiotherapy, massage therapy, and other evidence-based modalities to reduce pain, restore mobility, and speed up recovery.

Multi Radiance cold-laser light therapy is approved and highly effective for addressing acute and chronic pain from musculoskeletal problems such as:

Painful muscle spasms
Knee pain
Lower back pain
Neck pain
Ligament sprains
Arthritis
Back pain
Bursitis
Carpal tunnel
